Stay Safe in This Rainy Season
By Asma’u Muhammad

In view of the recently observed violent rainstorms, it is part of our responsibility to ensure that the lives of our customers as well as power supply assets are adequately protected through proactive response to emerging safety threats.
To avoid risks to lives and property, it is advisable to take notes of the following safety tips:
·         Stay away from transformers and electrical objects when it is raining.
·         Avoid contact with fallen electricity poles and wires.
·         Do not lift up any low-lying power lines.
·         Don't use mobile phone when it’s raining
·         Switch off your TV set.
·         Do not jump over or go under any low hanging electricity power lines.
  • Do not drive over fallen power lines.
  • Do not climb any tree that is touching or is near to power lines.
  • Do not attempt to free somebody who is in contact with an electrical power line; but inform and alert the nearest Kaduna Electric office.
  • Do not use electrical appliances that have been wet.
  • Be careful not to touch water—or anything in contact with water—near where there is a downed power line.

  1. Nice move for prioritising HRB because is the key for the growth of the our Business.I suggest HRB customers should be treated with priority as MD. In the near future their conribution to the company revenue would be more than the MD customers.
