Kaduna Electric sacks Management staff, Temitope Owoeye

Kaduna Electric has sacked its erstwhile Chief Corporate Services Officer, Temitope Owoeye.

Owoeye was handed his dismissal letter on Tuesday after a disciplinary committee instituted to investigate allegations of insubordination, indiscipline and gross misconduct leveled against him found him guilty of the offenses.

A statement signed by Head, Corporate Communication, Abdulazeez Abdullahi, said the Management of Kaduna Electric, with the backing of the Board of Directors, took the decision to relieve Owoeye of his duties in order to forestall  a breach in its operations and disruption of the harmonious working relationship among staff.

The statement added that the Management of Kaduna Electric also felt it necessary to affirm the fact that all staff who deliberately violate laid down company policies are made to face the consequences no matter who they are.

It will be recalled that Kaduna Electric recently sacked 24 staff members who were found to have engaged in fraud and other corrupt practices.

Abdullahi said the company has zero tolerance for activities that undermine the company and will continue to wield the big stick against staff who do not share in the vision of the company of building a responsible organization that aspires to give customers qualitative services.
