Management delegation Visits Critical Stakeholders in Kebbi
However, the visits will create an avenue
to reach out to the critical stakeholders and engage with them constructively
in view to finding solutions to their grievances and maintaining on the
existing mutual relationship with them.
It is pertinent to know Kaduna Electric
always value its esteemed customers as without them there wouldn’t be Kaduna
Electric.
The team was able to visit and engaged the
following stakeholders, the Leadership of Kebbi Development Forum (KDF)
apparently with Kebbi Concerned Citizens Initiative (KCC), issues were raised
by the duos that serious intervention from the high-level management of Kaduna
Electronic they however indulge the support and cooperation of Kaduna Electric.
They promised to maintain the existing
mutual understanding between the both parties as that will go a long way in
resolving issues of common interests. And also continue to support the
operations of the company within the state.
Furthermore, the team had also paid
courtesy visit to some heads of key security apparatus in the state The State
Commandant of Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), The State
Director Department of State Security Service (DSS) and The Commissioner of
Police (NPF).
They all assured the team of their maximum support to protect the lives of staff and facilities of the Company in the state, the peaceful coexistence in Kebbi is paramount we will do our possible best to ensure security and safe environment for all, they said.
Similarly, the Team were at the office of the Secretary to the State Government (SSG) Alhaji Babale Umar Yauri mni for same purpose.The state government have given directives to all the security agencies in the state to arrest and prosecute any person or group of people that try to harass or intimidate any member of staff of Kaduna Electric, all necessary plans are made to ensure the success of this directives.
Lastly, the team visited NLC leadership and
Chief Imam of Kebbi Central Mosque Sheikh Mukhtar Imam Walin Gwandu.
The NLC had played a very vital role during
the incident and the chairman Comrade Murtala Usman promised to continue his
support for Kaduna Electric.
The Chief Imam charged the Management of
the company to ensure justice to all, and encouraged that the company should
provide meters to its customers’ as paying electricity is an obligation by all
users.
Chief Operating Officer Urges Staff to be Proactive
This call was made by the Chief Operation Officer, Mr Ocholi Ausa during a meeting with the staff of Zamfara Region recently in Gusau.
Mr. Ocholi further stressed that the customer centric strategy of the Company can be a key component to build a long-term mutually beneficial relationship between customers and the Company, the relationships will create a stable environment of trust that will result in a continued growth of the organization.
“If adopt a more customers’ friendly approach to our operations will give the organization an ability to stay in close contact with customers, these are the people who offer invaluable information that can steer your business in the right direction” he said.
He also called on the staff to be morally sound and disciplined for the good reputation of the organization wherever they find themselves as that will earn them respect and enhance the relationship between them and their customer as well as will bring perfection to them and to the company at large.
“The Management shall stand behind with the staff in any situation and also appreciating the good effort of staff but not withstanding they must have double and promote the organization to optimal level” he Noted.
In his remarks, the Chief Security Officer, RTD Col. Ubale Dauda Abubakar revealed that Kaduna Electric gives security priority and do everything possible to motivate them in carrying out their responsibilities in the Company while they grow in their career.
“The employee has to be very productive and focus while they carry out their responsibilities with determination and caution against any suspicious activity in the environment” he said.
He urges all staff to beware of the environment and look out for any threats and people with strange behaviours, this he said if found should be reported to the security office or appropriate authority.
While commenting, the Head of Corporate Communication Abdulazeez Abdullah described the engagement as a surest and fundamental way to bridge the communication gap between the organization and its customers.
He noted that customer engagement is the surest way for any organization to foster strong relationship with its customers and create awareness, this he said can be accomplished through various means of communication.
Bills Payment Key to Achieving Better Service
Delivery - Zamfara Regional Manager
The Regional Manager made this submission
during a courtesy visit paid by the commander of 1 brigade Nigeria Army Gusau
Zamfara State.
He stressed that it is incumbent on the
Company to engage the command on obligation upon them concerning the
electricity payment which if done will enhance better service delivery.
Explaining the challenges facing the Kaduna
Electric, the Zamfara Regional Manager noted that lack of electricity payment
and vandalization has greatly affected efficiency of electricity supply in the
State.
“If this this problem is not tackled, there
will be little or no improvement that can be achieved
“The company is pleading with the command
to help promote the efficiency of the electricity supply by paying their
electricity debt”
On the importance of Electricity, the
Regional Manager said electricity had a key role to play in every aspect of
human endeavour, he noted that the importance of electricity cannot be
underestimated in the Military Command.
“Amidst challenges facing the electricity
industry, the organization has assured the command that it would double its
efforts to ensure a stable and sustainable electricity supply, but all these
will be done when you settle your bills” he said.
During his remarks, the commander1 Brigade
Gusau brigadier S Ahmed, described the visit as an aspect which shall lay the
foundation for a continuing relationship between the two bodies.
He further appealed to Kaduna electric to
provide the command with adequate electricity supply, he said electricity
supplies in military bases are essential for both the daily life of the
personnel, operations of field hospitals, equipment repair workshops and
information system.
“Military camps need a stable, reliable and
continuous supply to meet their needs and maintain their operational capacity”
He noted.
He stressed that the command understood the
current situation that is hindering the efficiency of electricity supply and
ready to give maximum cooperation for the sustainability of power supply taking
into consideration that the electricity industries are private entity that
generate revenue to sustain their business objective.
He concluded that the command will find a
way of settling their outstanding debt and metering of the blocks in barracks
which he said will help in tackling the problem.
